Like two trees planted together
For fifty years side by side
Leaning on each other in foul or fair weather
Together grown and now abide
Their roots entangled, now the same, find
Their differences put aside
Their branches interwoven and entwined
Two become one, in and outside
Two becomes one, in and outside "… and endure foul weather, whatever.. Your poem, sure Sir, allude to human life as well: friendship, marriage. Good poem. Congratulations

An incredibly beautiful testament to the power of love! I know of relationships that have grown as magnificently as those two trees.
