Broken By Birth Poem by Mallory Horne

Broken By Birth

Scars of tommorow,
Bruises of today,
Marks on my body that show the way,
The way I decided to take,

Just before the moments I break,
Lost inside without a clue to do,
In this moment here with you.
Mind undecided heart off balance.

Trying to decide wheater to take this chance.
Heart in pieces soul untanted,
This is cruel even for you granted,
You know my mind as a whole,

Even the parts I try to cover with my soul.
I can't continue this game of cat and mouse,
For I come from one heck of a broken house,
Losing you will hurt this is true,

However you're the one full of meaningless clues.
At first we were full to the brim,
Now it all just seems to grim,
So I am still here and you are gone,
Never to return to this house of bone.
