Broken City Poem by AFFAQ NABI

Broken City

May you reside with me in this Acer tree?
Away from the riots, rumors of your broken city.
Come here, O, come here, a memorable
Event it would be; come out of the vulgarity

Blooming in your doomed city; it's unrecoverable.
Come, O, come here, and then breathe fully
In this aesthetical island dale, which delivers
An unbelievable sea of comfort and tranquility.

Whisper of quail song, so pretty, on a windy tree.
In your central city, everything is worse off.
Come here, O, come, to this riverside, so fair
And square, O, life is only here; and fear not
Rough weather, or lonely hills, my dear,

The spring pushes sooner to the holy wells,
To awaken the dead earth through music bells.
