Broken Mirror A Poem Poem by Matthew Holloway

Broken Mirror A Poem

The mirror shattered
A broken reflection
Various faces looking back
All screaming in silence
Pained faces twisted
The divided soul seen
Its own torment
Sufferance and pain
Hidden by the mask
Not by the mirror
For we see ourselves
Not as we let the world
See the character we portray
Act out a life, a life or existence
And the unheard screams
The pained faces shattered
The cracks being witnessed
By the self a truth discovered
