Broken Silence (Part1) Poem by fadillai dapilaa

Broken Silence (Part1)

Rating: 5.0

Presently my soul lingers in limbo; not agnostic
The weary feet of me gets weary not; soon to be
No mortal seek what I seek; perhaps know what I hold
As one sits facing the glare of truth; surely true
I come to say there may be binary beliefs; but one truth
-Only this and nothing more-

That hour that all awaits; within a possible time
Will defame so called perfectionist; hmm
If many fear to say; I will utter
What I see now is religious politics; and many do flirt
And I strive to stand within reach
-Confusion and nothing more-

Then I realized all the leaves fell from one tree
Green, yellow and dried leaves; they were under its feet
Dancing to the melody of motherhood ensemble
Yet each thinks its better specie
And that began assertions; the latter is buttering
-Intolerance and nothing more-

So when he mentioned his father's name
I found out it was my dad; unknowingly
We all sing his glorious praise; each on a convinced dogma
Lost within souls but found in soles
And who wears the crown?
-A question and nothing more-

In the garden of deities; the fruit stood supreme
Some animals crawled and some flew to have a bite
And each trusted his way; yet admired others
All souls after the supreme fruit; trusting and believing
And who saves the rancor? Each belong to one
-Appreciate and nothing more-

Who confers piousness and legitimacy and supremacy?
Certainly not a mortal being; never to be born
So as all seek and conclude to be the white Angel
You might be the black one in white
And where we think we will end, we might not
-And that is forevermore-

As I sit watching this painting of Leonardo Da Vinci
I appreciated it from one angle
But my fellow mortals may have different eyes
And it changes not Leonardo's painting; still the Mona Lisa
And no one should be blamed; save us the invective
-Just that and nothing more-

I am surely a wonderer to you; I owe it to myself
As I scribble this, I fear no coming ignominy
Just a minute will tell the sweetest delicacy
And before that no one should claim the best chef
I say we all taste salty; sweet in our own eyes
-That and nothing more-

They save themselves through the stone; not your own
You redeem yourself through the sea; that's what you see
I walk on the road that I believe; I won't deceive
Hoping from one common power; and it doesn't taste sour
Let my heart be still a moment; and don't torment
-Don't condemn anymore-

I sit and panic within; just for thoughts
Yes the end may seem ominous; and I hold on
As your are in your light; so am I and so is he
Think of no thee as evil; just escape the devil
Just believe your ways
-Don't know what to say anymore-
