Broken To Something New Poem by Shiela Mae Lozada

Broken To Something New

Rating: 3.0

Living a life without goal is useless,
It's like feeding a pet with careless.
A life without faith, hope and inspiration,
Relying on the brokenness of this world.

Auntie inviting me, my mother and younger sister,
visit their church as a visitor.
Seventh-day Adventist, keeping the Sabbath day while
Waiting for the second coming of Christ.

I saw a pathway open and wide,
I saw a light ignites from within,
And spark as the people sing.
My heart feels comfort and relaxation there.

I baptized in the name of the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Waking up as a new version of myself.
He renew me and make me whole again.
