Broken Up Inside Poem by Melanie Weeks

Broken Up Inside

Broken up inside,
Tired of all the lies.
Can't take it anymore!
You took my breath away,
You made my heart race,
But then you lied.
Oh, how I cried.
You asked if I'd stay.
I can't 'cause I'm sore.
Watch my pain unwind.
Watch me bend inside.
Hear me cry out in pain!
Where were you
When I needed you?
You were never there.
Did you ever even care?
