I Forgave Myself Poem by Melanie Weeks

I Forgave Myself

Rating: 5.0

Sitting at home,
Alone in my depresssion.
I think of what I've learned
In Sunday school today.
The lesson was of forgiveness.
Then I had thought
I've only to forgive others.

I was given some pages to read.
Ihad planned not to.
Only a few hours ago,
Seems so long.

I'm sitting in my chair,
Reading the pages.
I make it half way.
I start to cry.
So many people in my life,
That need forgiveness from me.
And I am number one on my list

So I prayed and forgave myself.

Simple, yet deep. Just the kind of poetry I like. Hope you feel better after writing this. :)
