one man alone

Broken Wings - Poem by one man alone

Maybe I'm not meant for life
maybe life is meant for me
I wish I was a bird
so I could fly away so free

I wish I could leave the past behind
along with all my crimes
lost inside this life
but found inside my rhymes
telling of the dark-side
words regain my pain
left in life for dead
but rhymes relight the flame
shit I feel so crazy
but the world don't even care
thoughts provoke my brain
while my mind is laid out bare
naked as the truth I speak
soaking in my madness
never feeling happy
lost inside my sadness

I will to fly so high
but broken wings don't never heal
lost inside myself
that's just how I feel
