Brookie, Please stop hurting yourself
I swear everything gets better as time goes on
I understand what your feeling
I understand that something went wrong

Just talk to me, the way you used to
I’ll always be here for you, I swear
It doesn’t matter what they all think they know
We know that life isn’t ever really fair

We used to be like sisters
And I’m still here for you, no matter what
He hurt you so bad, Brookie
But somehow you forgot

Because when he came back for the week
You thought you could relight the spark
And once he left again
I watched as you fell further into the dark

Brookie, I tried to pull you back to the surface
I don’t think you wanted to come back
You wont die any time soon
You’ll survive this vicious attack

I miss the person you used to be
The one that wasn’t always crying
That girl that used to pick up the pieces
And tell me I need to keep trying

Where did that girl go, Brookie?
What did that boy do to you?
I need to see you smile again
Brookie, why cant I get through?
