Brows Of Sorrow Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Brows Of Sorrow

Twilight sitting on brows of sorrow and sadness, tears
falling about, lost like loved ones who are still alive
on earth.

Feelings pent up and angry, unable to express them be-
cause they seem to be so inappropriate next to memories
of us yesterday.

Together comforting one another in silence, but there's
no more comfort in one another because we're no longer
a couple on this earth.

Tears and misery are all that's left, for we can no longer
reach out to each other and your silence continues to begin
each day when awakening.
