Bubbles - Poem by Sawmitra Roy

The loop dipped,
In the colloid.
A breath blown into it gently,
Bubbles bulge.
Colors on the surface rainbowing.

A moment of happiness.
A thing of beauty.
A joy forever.
And then vanishes.

Aren’t we bubbles blown by Him?
Living with colors on the surface
And then we too

More bubbles bulge,
More bubbles vanish.
Mere play for Him.
