Bubbles In The Bath Poem by Chris Goss

Bubbles In The Bath

In the bath they are with me every day
Today for the first time in a while
My face did lend subtle smile
They glisten in the artificial light
Lay like a carpet on the water
Today they formed a crown
Soothing sensation to overwhelmed
With heavenly stars glistening light
I popped the three biggest, an easy peasy
I usually swish them away to the plug hole
But I have left the fluffy bubbles to lay all day
Too evaporate in their heavenly way
