He’s big and brawn and brazen
He’s a creature of great worth
His head alone is enormous
Not to mention his enormous girth
He looks so stern and handsome
Not another would ever do
As far as his wonderful self goes
I think he’s the best, don’t you?
You can see when you drive along
In Buffalo country long before
You ever get to where he stands
Like a ship far from the shore
I’ve been so very close to some
Right in Yellowstone, it’s true
Standing where you least expect them
Why, they come from out of the blue
I know I will again some day
Be able to find and to see
The animal that I love so much
When I enter Buffalo Country!
