We met a long long time ago, I think I was ten.
My very bestest friend, my baby blue bunny.
I was so happy then, the happiest Ive been.
I laughed out loud, 'cuz your voice was so funny!

When I was alone you gave me good company.
When I was grounded you always played with me.
When I was bored we'd watch Nickelodeon TV.
When I was peanut butter, you were my grape jelly.

Before bedtime you were the last thing Id see
while sleeping you cuddled right next to me.
Every morning, you were the first thing Id see
and when I ran away, you hopped along with me.

Thank you for making me laugh when I was sad.
Thank you for drying my tears with your ears.
Thank you for not judging me when I was bad.
Thank you for being in my life all these years.

Every once in a while Id pick you up and smell you,
I'll remember your birthday and our secret words we'd use.
If my house burnt in flames you’d be the first thing I'd save,
but if we didn't make it out, at least we’d be together in one grave.
