Build More Bridges Poem by Hebert Logerie

Build More Bridges

Let's build more bridges
Throughout the ages
Tear down the walls
Build more malls
Have more conversation
And less confrontation
Have more friendly discussions
And take less negative actions
Be more positive
Passionate and active
Be more conciliatory
And less reactionary
Smile, look in the mirror
If you see violence and terror
Repent and walk away from the fire
If you see love and a flower
Keep on praying, God loves you
You are among a few
Use pens, pencils, and words
Which are sharper than swords
Build more, more bridges
Throughout the ages.
