Building Memories Poem by Marilyn Lott

Building Memories

Rating: 5.0

Such fun to bring the past
Into our lives once more
Memories so magical
Are what photos are for

Like a peek back to see
What we looked like then
Trace our steps happily
From the past once again

To see ourselves when we
Were babies, oh what fun
To see our own kids as babies
A daughter or a son

To compare that sweet face
Of a happy little toddler
To the proud parent today
How we enjoy him or her

Grandparents holding babies
Who have sadly left us now
But the imprint they will leave
Will last forever, we vow

So enjoy those memories
Take out photos and share
Past them down best we can
So each generation will care!
