Built To Last
Rise above confusion
Let the feelings pass
I'll accept the truth now
It wasn't built to last
Take a new direction
And I will take to mine
Stronger than I ever knew
All wounds heal with time
No more tears of struggle
Time to move along
Now that it is over
I see that it was wrong
Regain my independence
Break the ties of pain
You cannot have a rainbow
Without a little rain
Goodbye to forever
And hello to my past
It truly is a shame
That it wasn't built to last
