Bullying Poem by April Humason

Bullying

In this world, can't you see?
Bullying comes with a heavy fee.
Just let me live, let me be,
Seeking freedom, my soul's decree.

Mean texts you send, making me weak,
Your next victim, the one you'll seek,
But your words are hexed, your intentions bleak,
In your venomous web, I refuse to be meek.

Rumors you fabricate, lies you create,
But beware, your steps I'll not tolerate,
For I'm about to rise, to retaliate,
Shut your mouth, it's time to abdicate.

You know not my tale, my journey's glory,
Yet, you judge, with a heart so predatory,
But your reckoning comes, purgatory awaits,
I'll rise above, no longer your quarry's fate.

So this is my plea, just let me be,
Why can't you see, your bullying's debris?
But I've found the key, and soon I'll be free,
Stand back now, for I won't let you break me.
