Solitude's Embrace Poem by April Humason

Solitude's Embrace

Rating: 5.0

Love's transformation to hate, a somber embrace,
Loneliness, my constant mate, in this desolate space.
In this hellish wait, my heart's heavy weight,
Till death's arrival, sealing my fate.

Tears flow like rain, a melancholic refrain,
No thrill in life, breathing seems in vain.
Suicide whispers, a shadowy temptation,
Loneliness fuels this haunting narration.

I battle self-hate, no companion to mend,
Loneliness, my companion till the very end.
In this solitude, I await, for hope I still advocate,
Till death's gentle touch, takes me to my ultimate state.

A glimmer of hope, a distant light,
Breaking through the darkness, shining so bright.
In this abyss, a new beginning I find,
A spark of love, igniting my mind.

A chance encounter, a gentle embrace,
Love's transformation, bringing solace and grace.
From the depths of despair, I rise,
Embracing love's healing, in its disguise.

No longer alone, no longer afraid,
Love's transformation, a soothing serenade.
Through tears and pain, a new path I take,
In love's tender arms, my heart awakes.

From solitude's embrace, I break free,
Love's transformation, my heart's decree.
With hope rekindled, and spirits revived,
I embrace love's journey, fully alive.

No fool like an old fool. I'm not fooled. Just letting you go to see how you fare. No sweat!
