Bureaucrats Poem by Gajanan Mishra

They are all servants,
The bureaucrats,
And they are not
Free, not independent.
Expect not anything good
From one who is a servant,
And who is not free,
Such a person can do
No good.

The bureaucrats
Know not what is beauty,
The bureaucrats
Act just like a machine,
The switch of that machine
Is with another's hand.
The bureaucrats
Know not where is
Their backbone.

Not at all creative,
The bureaucrats.
No way they are helpful
To fulfil our hopes,
And to represent
Our voice our language.
Not sociable they are,
Not state or say
Environment-friendly.

Only they can say
Neither this
Nor that.
They know not
The value of emotions,
They say only yes boss,
Failed to understand
The situation and
The nature of the so-called boss
And hence harmful
To society and
Also to the land.
