Burn It All Down Poem by Arko Chakraborty

Burn It All Down

Rating: 5.0

Pluck the roses, throw them down the sewer
Forget silence and peace, it’s time to light a fire.
Sink this world in an ocean of ashes,
Dress this earth in blood and half burnt corpses.
Forget the laws, forget the bows
On this raging hearth, we have a boat to row.
Kill and slaughter
Be those fathers, mothers or daughters.
Show no pity, show no mercy
Take these flames to heights of insanity.
Let the fire flow in your blood and light up your eyes
Let the dark smile shine, as the world begins to die.

Enough of tranquility and the whispering treachery
Enough of the Silent River of blood and the hymns of fake bravery
Pour out, the flames of evil in your heart
Tear this earth apart
Make this crust, a bloody graveyard.
While choking in the air of smoke and smog
And the fire making every soul sob,
Amidst the incredible chaos and deafening desperate screams
Let this fire burn it all down,
And give birth to a new world of dreams.

Good poem there is a lot of good vocabulary involved :)

Lovely imagery, made all the more intense through its sheer vividness and force; the darkness of tone and boldness of words make it a very engaging read.
