Bury The Bitterness Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bury The Bitterness

Bury the bitterness

I wished him success
When failed to get an access
An access of intimacy
And blessings from an almighty

Of late, he was behaving in a careless manner
He will enter home and show fist of an anger
I was wondering about his tone
That was seemed out o control and gone loveless

I slipped into past memory
When he had promised me worry-free comfort
Always entertained me with his outspoken quality
I was really in good health and remained happy

I had heard about his extramarital affairs
But was it fair on my part?
To poke in his daily routine
And spoil his mood for the days gone

I just slipped near
And whispered
"Can't we be united again"?
He remained silent but was seen in pain

Gents, generally speaking, don't come out openly
With their concern or worry
"I am with you "for all the time to come
Will it not be good to come together and welcome?

His all of burst in eyes baffled me
It seems he drained his anger and became free
"Yes, let us bury the bitterness" he gently spoke
We again became one and cut jokes
