Business Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Business

Since
Infancy,
We are taught
To be loyal
And to value
Loyalty

Yet very few
Businesses
Appreciate
Loyalty

Many of them
Keep enticing
New customers
With attractive
Discounts

Yet the old
Customers
Seem to be the
Forgotten lot,
Hardly being given
Any discounts,
And so every year
Instead of renewing
Their contracts, and
Remaining loyal
Customers,
They have to shop
Around to see how
To switch companies
To save their monies
Thereby being compelled
To propagate the business
Ethics of disloyalties.....
