Busted Headlamp Poem by Juan Olivarez

Busted Headlamp

I got hit in the eye,
By a firefly.
Who had a busted headlamp,
As he zipped by.

He landed in the tree,
And handed his license to me.
His insurance was first rate,
And he had it up to date.

But he was still ticketed,
By the cop.
For his busted headlamp,
He went straight to the shop.
