But Forests Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

But Forests

But forests

I have nowhere to go
Except to nature
Where I find in abundance fill air
Blowing all over

What does it convey?
I am at dismay
To find the purpose
But still chose to be here

Nature has an advantage
To be taken on page
For world to see the consequences
And then for cutting trees

Mo immediate harm shall be done
But wind has blown in opposite direction
Giving alarm over impending danger
We all shall be suffering from food grain buffer

Not only animals shall disappear
But insects and lovely deer too
We shall face polluted water
In case given away path by river

Let us seek refuge here
And refuse
Permission
For deforestation

But Forests
