Butterflies Poem by Melody McKinstrie

Butterflies

Rating: 5.0

It is the butterflies
That are fluttering
The beautiful
Wild things
With wings.

What will put
Them at ease?
Your affectionate gestures
If you please.

But still they will be
Not for long
Only momentarily
As they seek
A different place
To do their business
Like bees
Without the stings.
