Butterfly Poem by Evelyn Gillies

Butterfly

Rating: 4.7

I saw some butterflies flutter by
They make my garden come alive
They light on the pansies and the petunias too
Then flutter on in a second or two
Oh pretty butterfly
Your iridescent wings in many hues
Attract my attention to you
Oh pretty butterfly
Gone is the summer and the butterfly too
I wonder where they have gone, don't you?
But I know they will come back next
summer to flutter in my garden anew.

That's nice, you replicated beauty using the greatest descriptor of love; Butterfly.
