Your dad came to see me
Last night
He sent
A butterfly
To let me know
He was coming
He apologized on your behalf
And we talked for a while
He said he would have really
Loved me
Had we had the chance
To meet in real life
He thanked me for taking
Care of you
And told me to
Hold on
And I felt
Honoured
That he chose
To see me
On such a special day
