Butterfly Gossip Poem by Lento Maez

Butterfly Gossip

Rating: 5.0

Whispering butterflies caught my eye
What were they saying and to whom and why

I heard one giggle then wiggle its wings
The other one blushed then wiggled its wings

They both flew away as I watched their flight
Circling my head they flew out of sight

I was left wondering what did they say
I recalled their antenna bent as if to pray

After following a road by clover filled field
I realized that their secret would not be revealed

Very sweet Lento, Do you have secrets to reveal to us all or maybe they were sprinkling Butterfly dust and good wishes
