Butterfly In Winter Land Poem by Daniel Fivelsdal Wetaas

Butterfly In Winter Land

Rating: 5.0

You who have no parents
You who have no home
You who fled from all you knew
And who was forced to roam

Although my land is foreign
Although this land is cold
I hope you still find solace
And soon a new household

Should you one day feel lonely
Alone in unknown states
Then let me be a shoulder
And help you carry weights

I cannot change what happened
The scars may never heal
But one day soon, I hope that
True happiness, you can feel
