Butterfly Kisses - Poem by Dahni

(for Vickie) Delicate Fragile Precious
The wonder and pure joy captured
Upon the face of innocence the
child
A warmth and color and joy
Of little feet running, squirming at
the tickle
To capture the love and life
contained
In the flutter of wings
Or your eyelashes upon my cheeks! Image
(The beautiful bust upon the
shelves of life books) formed in an eye
began as chisel to rock
imagination
