Buyer's Remorse Poem by Treason

Buyer's Remorse

I should have gone with my human nature
But I chose to fight it off
and for those next 5 hours
what was in my mind?

I should have never agreed
and made a pact with misery.
They say she loves company
But she's over longed her stay.

And sometimes I can't stand myself
I'd expect that you'd be here to comfort me.
It's all the expectations that brought certain things down
and turned them to dust.

Now I can't look my self in the mirror
The face starring back is disgusted.
I would be too
Which is the irony.

Next times don't happen in my world
It's only this time
And everything would be fine
And I kept my mouth shut.
But,
Now I'm in a jam.

This thing is like war!
A king and queen fight for what they love,
while one and all suffers.
Maybe it was just not right.
I hope the ends in sight...
