I'M A Peaceful Man... Poem by Treason

I'M A Peaceful Man...

Maybe it's just my illusions,
telling my brain that you are not what you are to me.
It's probably just a snag, in the rag in our love.
Will you love me until death do us part?

What if my life never ends?
Will it be like going down a hill?
And turning at the sharpest bend?
Crashing until we've got not no more?

Was it possibly the way I was talking that night?
That gave your heart a fright?
When I popped the question
You have the answer
But...

What if that night never came to an end?
Will it be like giving me your heart?
Or is it just a lend?
Beating until the deadline.

Could it be that you're the one for me?
Is this the road that is meant to be?
Or is it just a detour?
An intersection of our lives.

And what if this never ends?
Will it be like a blinding light?
Blinding the love and making it descend?
Lady, I'm a peaceful man,
I'm a lover not a fighter....
