Blurred Vision Poem by Treason

Blurred Vision

As I sit and reminisce,
and listen to the songs that I once listened with you,
the flood gates open,
and my vision gets blurred from what once was.

The year was 2005, and I signed up for what has affected my life even today,
but in a good way.

I'm glad I had these times and the feelings that I shared along,
but it's difficult not to feel these feelings anymore.
It's difficult to move on, but I must.

Looking back on these few years, I wish I could have savored it a bit more,
the blindness of youth I have grown out of still wants me,
but I have to say no.

Oh! How I wish I was still the youth I was in 2005,
though some say I still am,
they don't know what I am.

But these memories will stay with me forever, some more distant than others,
and the friends! All the the friends I've met! They're here too!
And we can all share our blurred visions, even though we feel blue.
