Struck
By the mermaid song
Of plaintiveness
The yellow-fevered body
Turned
And looked towards
The sullen sea
The turquoise rocks
And half sighed but not signed
And closed its eyes
As
Blinded by the sudden light
That came and went more quick
Quicker
Than a second goes
The Bighi lights
