Cactus In Bloom Poem by Dr John Celes

Cactus In Bloom

The cactus blooms once in a while -
A treat to eyes that see!
The glorious efflorescence proves
A wonderful family.

The hardy plant withstands all climes,
As leaves stay almost green;
The flowers of many hues may make
The passers-by say, ‘wow! '
