Caged
I feel your eyes upon me
I have nowhere to go
I retreat to the corner
I still see you there,
just staring...
I want to run and hide
but you are always there
like a shadow in the dark
I feel no escape is possible
Always lurking...I'm never alone
I want to break free
to run and hide
I know it's possible,
so why can't I?
It's driving me crazy
just watching and watching
the air being squeezed out of me
I need to escape, to run, to hide...
I need to breathe
I need my life back again

So intense, I could almost feel what you were writing. I only pray that this was not a real life situation that you had to go through. I loved the energy of this work.
