Caged Bird

She was a caged bird,
With the wings that wished to fly.
Her sky was abundant
But the scars were too deep to lie.
The eyes that searched for wilderness
Had only seen the dreams,
But they never wished her to fly
Through the nights of stormy winds.
The dreamer had died!
So did the dreams
The cage is finally broken
And her tenderness turned into wings.
