Colors Poem by Alavi Maliha

Colors

Why not the old days
Turn into the reversing phrase?
I'd color your sky with blue;
Maybe chase you where love is known as a truth.
I promised to bring back rainbows
Only if your clouds could dance,
My colors would fill your shadows
If you ever turned around and took a glance!
But I keep painting the dark
And sing into the void,
Oh, come and sing with me,
My echoes whisper that I can't avoid.
But still I got my colors for you,
I'd close my eyes as I knew
Now I see the shadow appear,
And I turn your darkness into a glare!
