Here comes the winter night
With its deathly frozen wind,
Hold me when the blizzard comes
Like a thousand knives dragging in me.
It's like the silence whisper within the air,
Echoing death; hold on if you dare.
If the nights under illusion never killed you
Then watch before you breathe, feel before you care.
Let the air strike you in,
Let it scream beaming northern lights in dreams,
Winter is coming, my love
With the fear of death we hold within.
Beautiful rendition of words to utmost justice. An insightful depiction of the harsh side of winter season nicely brought forth with conviction. Thanks for sharing.
