Caged Blue Birds
Once engulfed by man's into a woman's
the story of encasement begins.

Then once X-X or X-Y merge
the story is firmed
a nine month's sentence by Lord confirmed
we continue to wait kick
mom's inside at every stage

Once released out
we come to the nurses enclave
in an incubator she does engage
the newly born
it's winter keep it warm
Then we are engorged in mom's arms
as long as she does want.

To school in a car...bus or rickshaw we go
again caged though
lest we fall on the rails.

As time passes by...we go to class...each teacher has a cage at last.

When you become a doc or lawyer
in an operation room or court you are again cast

As a soldier the Bn Comdr or Ship's Captain
or spacecraft airman keep you under close vigil...
we now become PURPLE BIRDS
and so repeat the same drill for our wards.

Then comes Covid it does us engage once again in a tighter cage. Finally the end comes...sooner than later
the coffin becomes the final enclosed quarter
none can save us thereafter
Ultimately NAILED...THE RAT RACE is over...ashes sealed down to some lone some valley we make it
as did TOM DOOLEY..
