Call Me Crazy Til You've Tried My Shoes

You wonder why I take offense to everyone's criticism
Because I've been criticised my whole life and no one told me how to handle it
I was bullied so often that once Mama finally gave me a phone I decided to look up come backs so I can get those stupid kids
You can't call me crazy til you try my shoes
People ask me why you wear those clothes
And what's wrong with your hair but no one decided to give a damn that I had to change my brothers diapers because Mama was always tired and his father was 'missing'
Matter fact after my brother died I got called a liar ' YOUR BROTHER AIN'T DEAD YOUR BROTHER AIN'T DEAD HAHAHA U LYIN'
But how you going to tell me I watched him die
You can't call me crazy til you try my shoes
I'm in foster care with rude kids that don't give a damn about people's feelings
But I stay because I know there's worse homes than here
But truthfully I never wanted to exist I hate being human I hate being black I hate it all
You can't call me crazy til you try my shoes
Nevermind that your shoes seem painful too
But still...You can't call me crazy til you try my shoes
