Campfire Meals Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Campfire Meals

Sidling up to a post that's reserved for horses, giving
them a break while their owners go inside for a bite to
eat.

Out on the frontier, roping cattle, herding them into
one place, a great life out on the range where nature
is bountiful and life is simple and laid-back.

Filled with an enthusiasm of living, reaching into
the atmosphere, breathing easy, campfire meals at
night out on the range, steak and beans usually, fill-
ing cowboys stomachs.
