Can I Begin To Tell Thee Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Can I Begin To Tell Thee

Authors - Joyce Hemsley
and John William McGrath III

Thou art my lone Poet Virtuoso.
Thou art my joy for eternity,
And oft' in the silence of the night
A lantern of love shineth on me.

Whenever the evening breezes blow
Across the sky and over the sea,
Within the garden of my heart
I bend to Thee; abide with me.

Heavenly angels, they should know
Your gift of tomorrow is mine to be
And in the lonely darkness of night
I pray to spend tomorrow with Thee.

Just like an old-fashioned romeo,
I love only one 'love' - Holy is He.
And waking within the morning light
My heart is ever calling to Thee.
