Can't Speak Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Can't Speak

If only I
Have let you known the secret
Every little pretty secret
Kept inside
We could be more than friends
I can believe
With every time that we spend
Tells me what my heart knows
And it's so real
Where I ain't never letting go

Can't speak
We don't know what we're doing
Who do we think we're fooling?
Somebody's going get hurt
Can't speak
what is it that we're thinking?
When we don't have a reason
Somebody's going get hurt

Sweet memories
Is what we go reviving
and soon there after
It would strike like lightening
As we sit, both you and I
With our hands entangled
Is what our hearts exemplifies

it's no beginning
We gotta start admitting what we are
You and I can't see the daylight
When there's a third to this wheel
