Can'T We Just Mosey? Poem by Jonzo Bandwagoner

Can'T We Just Mosey?

Rating: 5.0

The ticking sphere up on the wall
No longer holds our lives,
That anxious state of time so gloomy.

Be gone you dreaded hours, you fiendish
Walls, you checkered sighs!

Take your muggy rooms so dim! Your
Cells of yawning, waning light!

Bring us woodlands calm and green!
Return me to my poetry.

The road in wait for us to mosey
Departs from places past;
Ahead lay silent strolls, soft summer songs.
