Can You Hear Me? Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Can You Hear Me?

Calling!
Can you hear me?
Pod, cod, god, rod, mod, nod, sod!
With the muse of the cocoa in your land;
But, i am calling to know much about your love.

Muse!
Social talk;
With the ways of life today.
Love!
Along Lake Union;
With the muse of the beautiful flowers around.

Town, own!
With the muse of love, peace and joy;
Brown, own!
Deep mellow;
Thrown, own!
Let it flow and let it glow.

Own, town, brown, thrown, crown!
With the muse of the cocoa in your land;
But, can you hear me?
With the muse of your love;
Pass, compass!
Calling to know much about the sweet muse of your love.
