Canadian Boy - Poem by Aldo Kraas

So what else is new?
Canadian boy
Canadian boy
Sing me to sleep
Canadian boy
Uphill in the snow
Is the ski trails
Canadian Boy
Look me in the eye
Canadian boy
Too soon for love songs
Canadian boy
Has Canada in his pocket
Canadian boy
Hear Canada calling
Canadian boy
Stands for the glory of the flag
Canadian boy
Love his country
And he is proud to be a Canadian boy
Canadian boy
This is a land that is free
Canadian boy
Someone who believes in you is Canada
Canadian boy
You planted the trees
To beautify the neighborhood
Canadian boy
You are now going to join the army
And be a peace keeper
Canadian boy
This is our last good bye
Canadian Boy
I wish you luck overseas

This is a great poem of the poet. Gives off a great description of a boy who not only loves his home country but is proud to serve it's people. Very nicely written. (Report)Reply
