CANCAN Poem by Peer Wittenbols

CANCAN

For seven dead aunts and for number eight in advance

Aunts they canna dance
Canna dance the home cancan

Clockclock-drink hock
Up frock
Frock rock
Around the clock

Wobbling with those knobbly knees
Bobbing with those knockers
And with those shinbones

Hop hop
No need to stop
Dance all dance the home cancan

Aunts they canna dance
Chubby chubby home cancan

Bobbing wobbling
White flock
On the frocks
Oh that blissful home cancan

Now don't you fret
Don't fret my pet
Now don't hobble to the doctor's
With your bumps your little lumps
Hop hop gallop don't stop
Cancer up and cancer down
Well, well, get well soon
Dance all dance the home cancan

Chubby aunts they canna dance
Chubby chubby home cancan

Make your head stop
Put on some pop
Put your stick in the hall now
Drink hock up frock
Rock around the clock
Aunts canna dance the home cancan
Dig your high heels in the lino
Stamp your blisters in the cinders
Don't you limp now, don't be wimps now
Grab each other by the waist now

Battling cattle red as wattle
Strutting strutting
Oh how blissful that we can

We can we can we can

Chubby aunts canna cough tool
Chubby chubby cough pastilles
Whistling and grizzling
Whistling and grizzling
Whistling and grizzling
